Hospice of Siouxland is seeking a compassionate Overnight RN to provide quality nursing care to our patients throughout the night. Schedule is 7 days off and 7 days on from 5 PM to 8 AM. Some of the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, using clinical judgement to implement appropriate interventions, provide emotional support and education to patients and their families and document all care provided and community effectively with medical care team. Applicants must have an active RN license in the state of IA, NE or SD and a minimum of one year of prior nursing experience is required. Community health nursing or oncology experience is preferred.

Opportunity for an RN who would like to pick up shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 AM to approximately 5 PM. Compassionate RN will provide nursing care on the weekends to hospice patients at end of life. Serves as an advocate for patients/families and provides education. Under limited supervision, will make nursing visits on Saturday and Sunday for geographic service area. Uses clinical judgment to implement appropriate interventions. Follows mission of Hospice of Siouxland which is to provide high quality, compassionate care at the end of life.
