Under limited supervision, performs a variety of duties related to the general accounting activities of Health Inc., which includes June E. Nylen Cancer Center (JENCC) and Hospice of Siouxland. Job functions include journal entry preparation, complex account reconciliations, financial statement review and report and analysis preparation. Performs closing activities, supports the annual budget process, and assists with preparation of audit schedules for internal/external audits. Supports Director of Finance in system testing for updates and troubleshooting problem areas related to general ledger and report maintenance, as well as offer recommendations for improving processes. Ensure departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
This position is accountable for providing direction and analysis including recommendations when appropriate for all assigned requests or projects. Senior Accountant challenges the integrity of financial information in order to identify errors prior to distribution to others, and questions and researches unexpected results and fluctuations in preparation for meetings where financial reports will be reviewed.

Full-time RN Case Manager
Provides nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting established hospice standards. Accountable for assigned caseload in collaboration with other interdisciplinary team members. Serves as advocate for patient and families. One year of clinical experience in acute care setting or equivalent experience required (additional experience in hospice, homecare or oncology beneficial). Current RN license required along with basic computer skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Need to be CPR and mandatory reporter certified or willing to become certified.

Hospice Aide - CNA
Hospice Aide provides patient care according to established policies and procedures. Implements plan of care as developed by the primary nurse/Team Manager. Adheres to the principles of Service Care Standards and the philosophy and mission of Hospice of Siouxland in all aspects of job performance. Must have completed 75-hour Home Health Aide supervised training course or nurse aide training program. Six months experience as a Nurse Aide strongly preferred. Must maintain current CPR status. Current motor vehicle driver’s license and auto insurance required along with available transportation to travel to patient residences. Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position.

Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator coordinates a wide variety of volunteer services which include requests from patients, families, bereavement services, and other volunteers. Will recruit volunteers and plan and coordinate volunteer training and ongoing education of volunteers. Is a member of the interdisciplinary team and participates in developing the plan of care, serving as an advocate for patients and families. Coordinator will make recommendations on volunteer placement needs and document all volunteer activities. Will be responsible for We Honor Veterans Program. Bachelor’s degree in health, social work, or related field preferred. Computer skills required. Minimum two years of experience with volunteer programs preferred. Must have excellent communication skills.

Hospice of Siouxland seeks licensed/certified therapists to provide the following complimentary therapies to patients of Hospice of Siouxland. These will be contracted positions in our tri-state service area. Therapist must have their own pet/equipment to provide therapy services.
